Want to see Ruth at a Con?
Here's how you can help!
Go to the website of the convention you wish to see her at and find their contact info and request that they add her.
Asking Ruth to come to your hometown will not help. She has to be invited by the convention organizers. She can not just add herself to the guest list. It is up to you to convince them to add her to the convention.
Facts to remember when writing to request a guest:
-
ALWAYS be polite and respectful when making your request.
-
Don't Spam them every day with messages! They may not always write back (I'm sure it's a busy office) but your email/letter WILL be read and it will count for something. Instead encourage other fans to email and request as well!
-
When writing to request guests don't send a whole list of different people in the same message. It will have more impact if you send individual requests for everyone you'd like to see.
